In the Odoo Google Recaptcha website, administrators can configure the recaptcha parameters from the backend. They can select the favorite recaptcha version and activate it for connection, registration and reset actions of the password.
- This module supports Google Recaptcha V2 and V3.
- You can choose between Recaptcha V2 and V3 from a drop -down list in Backend.
- Administrators can activate Recaptcha for specific website actions, such as connection, registration and reset of the password.
- The module allows administrators to define a maximum number of failed connection attempts.
- If you are activated for connection, you can limit unsuccessful attempts to prevent unauthorized access.
- Once the authorized connection attempts are exceeded, the system temporarily locks.
- The password reset process also uses recaptha to prevent unauthorized changes.
- Once you have bought the Odoo Google Recaptcha website in the Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the Module zip deposit.
- Extract the file on your system after download finishes. Consequently, you will be able to see a file named- ‘odoo_captcha_login_lockdown‘
- Copy and glue this folder inside your Odoo complementary modules path.
- Now open the ODO application and click on the settings menu. Here, click on activate Developer mode.
- Then open the applications menu and click ‘List of update modules.
- In the search bar, delete all filters and search ‘odoo_captcha_login_lockdown‘
- You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install“To install it.
- After installing the Odoo Google Recaptcha website, you can activate Captcha by sailing to Website Webkul Addons> Product Website> Google Recaptcha website> Configuration.

3. Once activated, you must select the favorite Captcha version and activate CAPTCHA for specific actions. Activate the connection locking option and specify the number of authorized attempts.

4. After that, try to connect with an e-mail and a non-valid password. A message appears on the screen displaying the number of attempts left for the user.

5. If the user exceeds the number of authorized attempts, he must complete the CAPTCHA to connect to the website.

6. The CAPTCHA will also appear when registering on the website.

7. In addition, when resetting the password, CAPTCHA will be displayed in the Odoo Google Recaptcha website.
