User Guide for Odoo Website Wishlist

The wishlist sharing feature of the Odoo website allows customers to create personalized wishlists and easily share them with others.

Whether for a special occasion or to save your favorite items for later, this feature makes it easy for users to share the products of their choice via email or via a shareable link.

Odoo Website Wishlist Share improves the shopping experience, helps customers get the perfect gifts, and encourages more sales through easy sharing.

4. Odoo website wishlist sharing allows others to purchase items directly from the wishlist, simplifying the gift-giving process.
5. Receive notifications when items are purchased from the wishlist, keeping you informed of any purchases.
6. Create personalized wish lists for specific occasions like birthdays, holidays or special events to keep everything organized.
7. Delete or update wishlist items as necessary, giving you full control over your saved products.

1. Once you purchase the application from the Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the the module zip file.
2. Extract the file to your system once the download is complete. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘site_web_wishlist_share‘.
3. Copy and paste this folder into your Odoo Add-ons path.
4. Now open the Odoo app and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Enable Developer mode.
5. Then open the Applications menu and click ‘Update module list.’
6. In the search bar, remove all filters and search for ‘site_wishlist_share‘
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

1. After installation Odoo site wish list Share The module enables website wishlist sharing functionality from the backend.
Go to Settings > Website > Enable > Share website wishlist.

2. Once activated, go to the website and open the store page. You will see the Website Wishlists option at the top.

3. Choose a product you want to add to your Odoo wishlist.

On the product page, click the Add to Wishlist button to add the item to your wishlist.

4. Create a new Odoo wishlist or add the product to an existing list.

Click on the Wishlist icon at the top to view your wishlist. You can also see options like Your friend’s wish list Or Public wishlistdepending on the privacy settings added by the owner.

5. Open the wishlist you created or added products to and you will be able to see the items it contains.

6. Click on the three dots on the wishlist for options like To modify, Move wishlist to cart, By defaultOr Remove wishlist.

7. Select Edit wishlist to rename your wishlist, set privacy levels, or add a description.

8. To share your wishlist with friends, choose Common In the privacy drop-down list, once selected, click on the Add a contact option on the left side.

9. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the username and set the privacy level: Show only Or View and edit.

After filling the details, to share the wishlist, click on Invite to send an email invitation to the user.

10. When the user receives the invitation, he can accept it.

11. Once accepted, they can view or edit the sharing wishlist based on the privacy settings you set.

12. To see wishlists shared by others, go to the page Website > Wish Lists section. Click on Your friend’s wish list to view wishlists shared with you.

13. To access public wishlists, select Public wishlistprovided that the owner has made their wish list public.
