As online purchases have become a necessity in today’s world, customers often need to know the estimated delivery location in which they can receive their orders.

Given this essential requirement of WIX online store customers, webkul has developed the application of estimated delivery slots for Wix.

With the help of the application of estimated delivery slots, customers can select an estimated duration for the delivery of an order according to their availability to receive the order.

Configuration

After installation, go to the settings> Store Settings

From there, the administrator can configure the date, time and order limit.

Date and time at which the administrator wants customers to select the niche for the delivery of orders.

Order limit – The number of orders that the administrator wishes to accept per day / hour per location

Now access the configuration of emails.

Configure the SMTP configuration.

After this configuration, customers receive mail by administration email.

Configure the email using the given tutorial and save.

Access the model settings >> Mail model parameter

Here, the administrator can add the object line and the content of the email, which the administrator wishes to send to customers once they have selected the slot for orders.

Once added, click Save changes to save above.

Then, go to the view of the order calendar, the administrator can see the number of orders on a special date.

Click on the number of commands, it redirects to the page where all orders for this special date will be listed with the details of the order.

Before

On the payment page, customers can see the calendar to select the dates and time slots for delivery as indicated below.

Note – The customer sees the locations according to the order limit defined by the administrator in the backend.

Example – The administrator set the order limit for 5 orders per date / temporal location.

After 5 orders arrive for the same slot machine.

At the front, the slit will be presented as unavailable to reserve for customers.
